CHERRY TOMATOES

How nice will it be when you can pluck off cherry tomatoes right from your doorstep and pop it into your mouth, or throw it into a salad? While it seems daunting to grow tomatoes, it's relatively easy to grow them in Singapore! It'll take quite a bit of patience and effort, but the reward will definitely be worth it.

Care Instructions

Step 1: Wet your soil mix and put into a seedling tray.

Step 2: Poke one hole in each cell, and plant about 3 seeds in each hole, about 1/4 inch deep.

Step 3: Place them in a sunny location and water daily.

Step 4: When the seedlings have outgrown the cells, transplant to a larger pot or tray.

Step 5: Continue to water daily, and fertilise after 2 weeks of transplanting.

Step 6: Tie a stake or supporting device to the stem to keep it upright.

Step 7: After about 2 months, they will start to flower. After another 2 months, they will start fruiting.

Step 8: After another 1 month, they will be ready for harvesting!
